Tri Acetate Cellulose (TAC) polarized lenses feature a new lens technology formulated for superior visual and polarization clarity. They have a scratch coating and block 100% harmful UV rays up to 400 nanometers. These lenses are very lightweight and highly impact resistant.More Info
Polycarbonate Lenses Material (PC Lens) While its optical characteristics are less than ideal, polycarbonate, the same material used for bullet-proof glass, is the most impact resistant of lens materials. Consequently, polycarbonate is the material of choice for safety and children's eyewear.More Info

UV-400 Protected Lens
Sunglasses labeled UV 400 provide nearly 100% protection from harmful ultraviolet light rays, blocking wavelengths up to 400 nanometers, including UVA and UVB rays. Ultraviolet, or UV, rays are electromagnetic radiation from the sun. While you can’t see it, UV light penetrates Earth’s atmosphere and reaches your skin and eyes in the form of UVA and UVB waves.More Info
A polycarbonate lens is a lens made of a thermoplastic polymer of the carbonate group. It is about 10 times more impact resistant than normal plastic or glass lenses. Polycarbonate lenses are preferred over glass lenses by eyewear users, sportsmen and other eye protector users because of its lightweight, ultra violet (UV) and impact resistance properties.More Info
Polycarbonate frames are primarily associated with sport or safety glasses, as they offer optimum impact resistance and eye protection.More Info
